PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Florida Global University’s M.B.A. is designed to explore critical business processes, develop real-life projects, collaborate with other students, and conduct in-depth studies of high-demand business. Courses are structured so that students learn by directly applying course content to real-life challenges they encounter in the workplace. Each course of study connects the academic to the practical, giving FGU’s M.B.A. graduates the skills they can put to work immediately. The FGU M.B.A. is designed for working professionals from a wide range of backgrounds who wish to advance or enhance their business careers. In addition, students are able to choose a General Business, Finance, Professional Coaching, International Economic Relations Major or Tourism Management.

The Master in International Economic Relations will provide the student with skills and competences to delve into the theoretical, conceptual and technical aspects of international economic relations and in both, the economic and the legal environment that characterize and promote the emergence of new international markets.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Florida Global University M.B.A. will be able to:

  1. Apply effective organizational skills; Use financial data in planning and decision-making; Understand information systems and their management.
  2. Apply strategic marketing in a global economy.
  3. Develop and implement a competitive economic strategy.
  4. Apply personal and professional code of ethics that incorporates cultural, economic, and political factors.
  5. Apply specialized skills immediately applicable to real life challenges.
  6. Provide skills and competences to delve into the theoretical, conceptual and technical aspects of international economic relations and the economic and legal environment.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

In order to be accepted in the program, the candidates must submit digitally the following documents for evaluation:
  • North American or Foreign High School Diploma
  • Associate degree from a recognized North American institution (College or university), or equivalent diploma from a foreign university legally recognized in the country of origin.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent, issued by a university legally recognized by the state. (Revalidate).
  • Undergraduate transcripts (Homologation of previous studies).
  • Official identication document from the country of origin (identity card, citizenship card, passport or other).
  • Legal translations of the professional title and transcripts (in case of documents in language other than English).

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • The titles and transcripts issued by foreign universities must be evaluated and certified by an accredited evaluation agency in the United States for this purpose. (FGU directs this process).
  • It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide all the necessary documentation for the aforementioned evaluating agency to proceed with the required evaluation and certification. (FGU directs this process).
  • The applicant is responsible for the payment of the translation, evaluation and certification of credentials. (FGU directs this process through the Registration and Evaluation of Academic Credentials Fee).
